In tunnel construction, when the surrounding rock is weak and severely fractured, it is essential to promptly install steel arch frames as initial support to control deformation and prevent collapse. Traditionally, the installation of these steel arch frames has relied on manual labor, using simple platforms or loaders to manually place the arch frames in position. This method involves a large number of workers, high labor intensity, low efficiency, poor installation quality, significant safety risks, and a higher likelihood of workplace injuries.
The XM1200 tracked multi-functional work platform is a product of our company's proactive response to the national initiative to promote the development of domestic manufacturing and tunnel machinery construction. Since 2015, after two years of on-site research and discussions with engineering experts, we successfully developed China's first arch frame installation platform by the end of 2016. This innovation addresses the issues of existing equipment from both domestic and international sources, which do not align with China's construction techniques, are inefficient, and have poor operability.
The self-developed XM1200 tracked multi-functional working platform has obtained national invention patent and a number of new practical patents, which belongs to the advanced equipment with fully independent intellectual property rights.
